Rowathlon Results Now In

The results are now in for WRC’s Virtual Rowathlon! Result tables can be viewed via the following links:

On Saturday 25th July 2020, WRC held its first (and hopefully only) virtual rowathlon. The event was held in place of WRC’s cancelled regatta, which is held annually in July.

Competitors took part in individual and crew events, with run, row and ride distances based on the current WRC regatta course.

More than 70 rowers submitted their times in the hope of being the first to ring that Rowathlon bell, which saw submissions from as far as New Zealand.

A great result for Twickenham RC!

Congratulations to Emma Feerick (Twickenham RC) for coming 1st overall in the individual event. Emma’s overall time of 00:13:15 was ten seconds clear of individual runner up Alastair Eaves (Oxford Brookes).

There was more cause for celebration at Twickenham RC, as team ASP took 1st place in the team event. ASP’s time was unmatched in the team event, seeing the crew posted an impressive overall time of 00:11:18.

Thank you!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our event, as well as those members here at WRC who made the Rowathlon happen.

We look forward to welcoming you to our stretch of Mrs Mersey again soon.
