Rowing Club in Action with Victories at Runcorn
Warrington Rowing Club Crews were in action again at the weekend and came home with 4 wins, competing at the Runcorn Autumn Head – a 4500 metre time trial on the River Weaver.
The womens novice quad of Jen Hind, Celia Critchley, Vicky Tickle and Sasha Collins – came 2nd in their event
The womens WJ16 quad of Rachel Ozsanlav-Harris, Cameron Nyland, Abigail Ellam and Bethany Rigby came 2nd.
The womens J16 Grace Rooney, Dominique Billingham, Megan Dumbavand, Alex Brilus entered above their age category in Womens .IM2.4+ against some very formidable university crews and finished an impressive 4th.
Phil Higginson came 2nd in his Mas C.Nov single.
Congratulations are in order for the Mens Masters C coxed four of Greg Millar, Seb Miller, Peter Luke and Mike Selway with cox Dominique Billingham who finished first in their event in a time of 19:53.03.
Competing were the Mens Masters C Quad of Adam Lumley, Phil Higginson, John Goode and Alasdair Elder who finished a hard fought row against the Runcorn opposition in a time of 18:03.03 and 2nd in their event.
The Womens J18 double of Ayesha Wooler and Ellie Davies won their event in a time of 19:56.08.
The womens WIM3. Double of Charlotte Brennan and Charlotte Moll also won with a time of 19:21.06.
Congratulations to the singles of Pippa Curran who won in her W.IM1.single and to Lucy Stanhope who came 3rd in her WJ18. Single.
